CES 2025 Opens in Las Vegas, Chinese Manufacturers Lead the Way

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, organized by the Consumer Technology Association, opened on Tuesday in Las Vegas, bringing together global companies, industry executives, and government leaders.

The event showcases advancements across a wide range of technology sectors, including artificial intelligence, digital health, energy transition, mobility, and quantum computing. “There is great momentum heading into the show with a record 3,400+ Innovation Award submissions, over 4,500 exhibitors including roughly 1,400 startups, and 1,100 speakers for over 300 conference sessions,” said Gary Shapiro, CEO and Vice Chair of the Consumer Technology Association, in a press release.

Chinese manufacturers continue to be a significant presence at CES. According to the exhibitor list displayed on the CES official website, nearly 1,500 Chinese companies are participating this year, accounting for around 30 percent of the total number of exhibitors. Their participation highlights the growing influence and innovation of Chinese companies in the global technology industry.
