CCPIT: Connectivity Reaches Historic Levels in Global Supply Chains

The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) has announced that connectivity in global supply chains has reached historic levels, as revealed in the 2024 edition of the Global Supply Chain Promotion Report. The report highlights key industries to assess the impact and transformation brought about by new technologies, business models, and innovative practices on the global supply chain.

CGTN’s Aaron Liu spoke with Zhou Jinzhu, director of the Department of International Trade Research at CCPIT, to gain insights into these developments. Zhou emphasized the significant role that technological advancements and innovative practices have played in enhancing global connectivity.

“The integration of new technologies and innovative business models is reshaping the global supply chain landscape,” Zhou stated. “These changes are enabling industries to operate more efficiently and collaboratively, fostering unprecedented levels of connectivity.”
