The 2024 ASEAN Media Partners Cooperation Week officially commenced on Friday in Guilin City, located in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China. The event is co-organized by China Media Group (CMG) and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The cooperation week brings together media professionals and organizations from member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and strengthen media ties within the region.
Participants will engage in a series of forums, workshops, and cultural activities aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and exploring opportunities for media cooperation across Asia.
The initiative seeks to promote regional connectivity and showcase the dynamic developments within Asian media landscapes.
As a significant event in the Asian media calendar, the cooperation week is expected to contribute to the strengthening of ties between China and ASEAN member countries, paving the way for future collaborations in journalism and media production.
