China is opening broad prospects for modernization by deepening its comprehensive reforms, following the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, which concluded in July.
The landmark meeting, held from July 15 to 18, saw the adoption of a resolution unveiling more than 300 reform measures across various fields, including the economy, politics, culture, society, and ecological civilization. These reforms are set to cover all aspects of advancing Chinese modernization.
By reiterating its commitment to further deepening reforms, China aims to provide more certainty and opportunities for its modernization drive. The comprehensive measures are expected to promote high-quality and green development across various industries, improve people’s livelihoods, and develop new quality productive forces.
Currently, the central and local governments have introduced a slew of policies and plans to implement these reforms. These initiatives focus on fostering sustainable development, enhancing socio-economic growth, and ensuring the well-being of the populace.
