In a significant advancement for regional trade, a train carrying 28 China-made new energy buses departed on Monday from the Dulaying International Land-Sea Logistics Port in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. Bound for Vientiane, Laos, this shipment marks Guizhou’s first direct export of locally produced new energy buses via the China-Laos Railway.
“This new logistics channel through the China-Laos Railway provides a dedicated and efficient route for our automobile exports to Laos, facilitating further trade and cooperation,” stated Zhang Yongjun, general manager of Guiyang International Land Port Company. The buses are expected to arrive in Vientiane within seven days, symbolizing a new era of connectivity and sustainable transportation between Guizhou and Laos.
The total shipment includes 55 new energy buses, with the second batch of 27 buses scheduled to depart on Tuesday. This initiative not only underscores the strengthening economic ties between the two regions but also highlights their shared commitment to green energy and sustainable development.
