The 2024 China-Europe Talent Forum convened in Beijing on Tuesday, bringing together 240 participants from diverse fields including research, education, business, and technology. In an interview with CGTN’s Hu Binyi, Jürg Burri, Switzerland’s ambassador to China, emphasized the necessity for the future workforce to adapt to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Dominique Turpin, European president of the China Europe International Business School, cited leading Chinese companies like Huawei and BYD as prime examples of organizations that are attracting top talent. Antonio Miguel Carmona, president of Spain’s Friends of China Association, underscored the need for China and Europe to share resources to expand the world’s talent pool.
