The Financial Street Forum 2024 is set to open in Beijing on October 18, bringing together over 500 guests from more than 30 countries and regions worldwide. Scheduled to run until October 20 at Beijing Financial Street, this year’s forum emphasizes financial openness, collaboration, and shared economic stability.
Jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal People’s Government, the People’s Bank of China, the State Financial Regulatory Administration, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Xinhua News Agency, and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, the annual event serves as a significant platform for international financial dialogue and cooperation.
The forum will feature a dynamic structure of a main forum, parallel forums, and a fintech conference. The fintech conference will host an additional 17 events, highlighting the latest advancements and innovations in financial technology.
The main forum encompasses the opening and closing ceremonies alongside six thematic sessions. These sessions aim to provide authoritative insights into global and domestic economic trends and financial regulatory policies, actively shaping public expectations and fostering informed discussions.
The six thematic sessions will delve into critical topics such as enhancing the modern central banking system, deepening capital market reforms, empowering industries through financial support to drive high-quality development, and fostering mutually beneficial international trade and investment cooperation.
