Chinese Premier Li Qiang has called for the prompt implementation of incremental policies to stabilize the country’s economy and achieve annual economic and social development targets.
Speaking at a symposium with experts and entrepreneurs on Tuesday, Premier Li emphasized the importance of accelerating the execution of existing policies and swiftly formulating plans for policies currently under consideration.
“We must get a clear understanding of the major trends and strengthen our confidence, while also facing up to the difficulties, responding to them actively, and effectively addressing prominent issues in economic operation,” he stated.
As a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Premier Li highlighted the need to listen to the voices of the market and respond to social concerns when formulating and implementing policies, continuously boosting confidence in development.
He underscored the development of new policy options to stabilize the economy and promote development, launching them timely in accordance with changes in the economic situation.
Premier Li also called for efforts to improve the business environment, stimulate the vitality of enterprises, and provide relief to businesses facing difficulties through pro-business policies.
