Third Belt and Road Forum Unites Global Leaders for Shared Prosperity

Over 4,000 leaders and delegates from around the world have convened in Beijing for the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. This significant event marks a decade since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was first announced in 2013, aiming to promote global development and prosperity through enhanced connectivity and collaboration.

In a collaborative effort between CGTN and Russia’s TV BRICS, BizTalk hosted a series of interactive discussions in both Beijing and Moscow. Government officials, leading experts, professors, and observers came together to reflect on the achievements made under the BRI and to explore its future contributions to worldwide growth and cooperation.

The discussions highlighted the transformative impact of the BRI over the past ten years, including infrastructure development, trade expansion, and cultural exchanges among participating countries. Delegates emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to address global challenges and foster economic opportunities for nations across Asia and beyond.

As the forum progresses, participants aim to outline strategies for deepening partnerships and ensuring that the benefits of the Belt and Road Initiative are shared globally, promoting common development and prosperity.
