According to data from travel platform Trip.com, inbound travel orders during the week-long holiday have increased by an impressive 130 percent compared to the same period last year. Tourists from countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Russia, and France are leading this influx, eager to explore China’s rich cultural heritage and modern attractions.
Major cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Chongqing have emerged as the top destinations for these international travelers. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has also announced plans to establish foreign currency exchange service points around national-level tourism sites and to promote English-language services.
