As the China-CEEC Expo highlights regional cooperation in Ningbo, Gregor Majdič, rector of Slovenia’s University of Ljubljana, emphasized the critical role of academic collaboration in addressing global challenges. The rector positioned academia as a cornerstone of international cooperation, urging stronger ties to tackle shared issues like climate change and demographic shifts. "We live in one world," he asserted. "Collaboration across cultures isn’t just beneficial—it’s essential for humanity’s survival."
