A spokesperson for the National People’s Congress (NPC) of the Chinese mainland on Tuesday stated that the system of people’s congresses has provided an important institutional guarantee for long-term social stability.
Lou Qinjian, spokesperson for the third session of the 14th NPC, made these remarks during a press briefing on the NPC session scheduled to run from March 5 to 11.
