Chinese athletes Han Mei and Ning Zhongyan have earned bronze medals at the ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Heerenveen, Netherlands.
In the women's 1500 meters final, Han Mei completed the race in 1 minute and 54.52 seconds, securing third place. Japan's Miho Takagi finished just 0.53 seconds ahead to take silver, while Joy Beune won the gold with a time of 1 minute and 53.70 seconds. China's Yang Binyu and Yin Qi also performed notably, finishing in 5th and 6th place respectively.
In the men's race, Ning Zhongyan claimed the bronze medal, contributing to China's successes in the competition. The event featured four races, including the men's and women's 500 meters and the 1500 meters.
