In a significant move to strengthen regional ties, Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene met in Harbin on Friday afternoon to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation.
The meeting took place as Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene attended the closing ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin City, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. Highlighting the geographical and cultural connections, Premier Li emphasized that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors united by shared landscapes and mutual interests.
Premier Li outlined China's commitment to implementing the key agreements reached by the two leaders, aiming to steer China-Mongolia relations in a positive direction. He stressed the importance of consolidating political trust, fostering traditional friendships, and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation to deliver greater benefits to both nations.
