Improving connectivity was another key topic, with initiatives to build the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway to high standards, modernize existing ports, and open more passenger and freight flights. These efforts are intended to facilitate the movement of people and goods, boosting both countries' economies.
Furthermore, the leaders discussed expanding cooperation in emerging sectors such as cross-border e-commerce, big data, and artificial intelligence to create new growth opportunities. Cultural exchanges were also emphasized, with plans to enhance the operations of institutions like the Chinese Cultural Center, the Luban Workshop, and the Confucius Institute to cultivate stronger China-Kyrgyzstan friendships.
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov reaffirmed China's role as a reliable friend and partner, expressing firm support on issues concerning Taiwan, Xinjiang, and Hong Kong. He pledged to advance cooperation in industries, investment, trade, transportation, e-commerce, and education.
