Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday sent a congratulatory message to Alexander Lukashenko on his reelection as the president of Belarus.
Noting that he has maintained close contact with Lukashenko over the recent years, Xi said they have jointly chartered the course for and led the development of China-Belarus relations, pushing bilateral ties to an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership of all-time high.
Xi highlighted that political mutual trust between the two sides has been continuously consolidated, and Belt and Road cooperation has yielded fruitful results through effective multilateral coordination.
The Chinese president emphasized his commitment to the development of China-Belarus relations and expressed his willingness to work closely with Lukashenko to continue the traditional friendship between the two countries. He underscored the importance of deepening mutually beneficial cooperation to foster greater progress in China-Belarus ties and deliver more benefits to the people of both nations.
