The Third China Media Group (CMG) Annual Chinese TV Drama Ceremony lit up Beijing on Wednesday, celebrating the finest talents and productions in the Chinese television industry.
The star-studded event awarded a total of 21 honors, spanning categories from Best Actor and Actress to Best Drama Series. Renowned actors Yu Hewei and Jing Dong, along with actresses Song Jia and Liu Yifei, were crowned as \\"Actor of the Year\\" and \\"Actress of the Year\\" respectively, acknowledging their remarkable contributions to the art of television.
Fifteen popular TV series, including The Tale of Rose, To the Wonder, and Romance in the Alley, were honored with the \\"Outstanding TV Series of the Year\\" award, highlighting the creativity and diversity of storytelling that has captivated audiences over the past year.
In addition to the awards, the ceremony marked the launch of the Film and Television Tourism Consumption Integration Year. This initiative aims to foster the integration of film, television, cultural tourism, and consumption, promoting high-quality development within the cultural tourism sector.
