The Third China Media Group (CMG) Annual Chinese TV Drama Ceremony illuminated Beijing on Wednesday, celebrating the brightest talents and productions in China's television industry.
A total of 21 awards, spanning categories from best actor and actress to best drama series, were presented during the event. Esteemed actors Yu Hewei and Jing Dong, along with acclaimed actresses Song Jia and Liu Yifei, were honored as \"Actor of the Year\" and \"Actress of the Year,\" respectively. Additionally, 15 popular TV series, including The Tale of Rose, To the Wonder, and Romance in the Alley, received the \"Outstanding TV Series of the Year\" accolade.
The ceremony also marked the launch of the Film and Television Tourism Consumption Integration Year. This initiative aims to promote the synergy between film, television, cultural tourism, and consumer engagement, fostering high-quality development within the cultural tourism sector.
The evening was filled with captivating songs and dances, showcasing memorable scenes from the past year's most beloved TV dramas and paying tribute to the dedicated behind-the-scenes professionals.
