Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday sent a congratulatory message to Alexander Lukashenko on his re-election as the President of Belarus.
In his message, Xi highlighted the close contact he has maintained with Lukashenko over recent years. He noted that together, they have charted the course for and led the development of China-Belarus relations, elevating bilateral ties to an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership at an all-time high.
Xi emphasized that political mutual trust between China and Belarus has been continuously consolidated. He remarked on the fruitful results of the Belt and Road cooperation between the two nations and their effective multilateral coordination.
Expressing his commitment to the future of China-Belarus relations, Xi stated that he attaches great importance to their development. He expressed his willingness to work closely with Lukashenko to continue the traditional friendship between the two countries.
