The third China Media Group (CMG) Annual Chinese TV Drama Ceremony lit up Beijing on Wednesday, celebrating the finest talents and productions in the Chinese television industry.
The star-studded event honored outstanding contributions with 21 awards spanning categories from Best Actor and Actress to Best Drama Series. Prominent actors Yu Hewei and Jing Dong, along with acclaimed actresses Song Jia and Liu Yifei, were lauded as \"Actors of the Year\" and \"Actresses of the Year\" respectively, acknowledging their exceptional performances over the past year.
Among the productions celebrated, 15 popular TV series received the prestigious \"Outstanding TV Series of the Year\" accolade. Notable titles included The Tale of Rose, To the Wonder, and Romance in the Alley, reflecting the rich diversity and creativity of contemporary Chinese television storytelling.
Adding to the evening's significance, the Film and Television Tourism Consumption Integration Year was officially launched. This initiative aims to foster the integration of film and television with cultural tourism and consumer markets, promoting high-quality development within the cultural tourism sector.
