China Successfully Launches Gaofen-12 05 Earth Observation Satellite

On Wednesday, China successfully launched a new Earth observation satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. At 7:45 a.m. Beijing Time, the Long March-4C rocket, carrying the Gaofen-12 05 satellite, lifted off, piercing the clear morning sky.

The satellite has entered its preset orbit and is set to play a crucial role in various fields. Gaofen-12 05 will be primarily used for land surveys, urban planning, land right confirmation, and road network design. Additionally, it will aid in crop yield estimation and disaster prevention and mitigation, providing valuable data to support these essential areas.

This launch marks the 540th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series, highlighting China's ongoing advancements in space exploration and technology.
