In the days leading up to the Spring Festival, one of China's most significant cultural celebrations, President Xi Jinping, who is also the general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, embarked on an inspection tour of Liaoning Province in northeast China.
On Thursday, President Xi visited a cold rolling mill operated by Bensteel Group in Benxi City. During his visit, he underscored the vital role of the steel industry as a foundational sector for the nation. Emphasizing the importance of the real economy, he stated that it serves as the cornerstone of China's national economy.
Earlier in his trip, President Xi stopped by a food market in Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning Province. He interacted with vendors and residents, ensuring that the market's supplies were sufficient to meet the needs of the people during the festive season.
