On Sunday, a magnitude-5.1 earthquake struck Tainan City in China's Taiwan region, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Tremors from the quake were felt in neighboring Fujian Province on the Chinese mainland. The seismic waves reached across the strait, causing noticeable shaking in the province.
