Among these clubs stands the Serebryany Bor (Silver Forest) Walrus Club, boasting a rich history of 63 years. It is one of the oldest winter swimming clubs in Russia, embodying the spirit and perseverance of those who dare to embrace the icy waters.

We had the opportunity to speak with Andrey Zamyslov, the chairman of the Silver Forest Walrus Club and president of the Winter Swimming Federation of Moscow. Andrey shared insights into the world of winter swimming, from essential preparation techniques and building cold resistance to the art of staying flexible amidst freezing temperatures.
