Members of the Shenzhou-19 crew aboard China’s orbiting space station have successfully completed their second series of extravehicular activities (EVAs), lasting 8.5 hours. At 1:12 a.m. Beijing Time on Tuesday, astronauts Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong, and Wang Haoze returned to the station after completing multiple tasks with the assistance of the space station's robotic arm and support from the ground team, according to the China Manned Space Agency.
During their 8.5-hour spacewalk, the crew conducted various tasks essential to their mission. The successful completion of these EVAs demonstrates the crew’s coordination and the effective use of the station’s robotic arm.
The Shenzhou-19 mission continues to advance China’s presence in space exploration, with the crew’s efforts contributing to the ongoing success of the orbiting space station.
