President Xi Chairs CPC Leadership Meeting to Review Reports and Promote Yellow River Protection
Beijing, October 16 — Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, chaired a meeting of the CPC Political Bureau on Monday, focusing on the review of key reports and advancing ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.
The meeting reviewed a report from the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, following discussions on the work reports submitted by the leading Party members' groups of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), the State Council, the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the Supreme People's Court (SPC), and the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP). The Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee was called upon to enhance its political capabilities, strengthen strict self-governance, and effectively accomplish all tasks entrusted by the CPC Central Committee.
