Shenzhou-19 Crew Completes Second Spacewalk in 8.5 Hours

Members of the Shenzhou-19 crew aboard China's orbiting space station have successfully completed their mission's second extravehicular activities (EVAs) at 1:12 a.m. Beijing Time on Tuesday, according to the China Manned Space Agency.

Astronauts Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong, and Wang Haoze worked for 8.5 hours to complete multiple tasks with the assistance of the space station's robotic arm and support from the ground team.

The crew's extravehicular activities involve astronauts exiting the spacecraft to perform tasks in the vacuum of space, which are essential for the maintenance and development of the space station.
