Real Madrid Dominates Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai

In a glittering ceremony at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, Real Madrid emerged as the big winners, taking home multiple prestigious honors on Friday night in the United Arab Emirates.

Leading the accolades was Vinicius Jr., who was named Best Men’s Player and Best Forward. The Brazilian striker outshone teammate Jude Bellingham and Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo of Al Nassr to clinch the top individual prize. Vinicius’s remarkable tally of 25 goals and 12 assists in 40 games was instrumental in “Los Blancos” securing titles in the Spanish La Liga, Supercopa de España, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Intercontinental Cup during the 2023-24 season.

“Firstly, I want to thank all of my teammates, my family, and Flamengo, who put me on the world stage,” Vinicius expressed with gratitude. “I always thank them and my teammates, which is the most important thing of all, because without them, I would not be here. Also my fans, who follow me closely and cheer me on. Globe Soccer is the award I’ve been working hard for, and being recognized is very important. Good night, everybody, and may 2025 be an incredible year for all of us.”

Jude Bellingham was honored with the Best Midfielder award and the Diego Maradona Award, following an impressive season where he tallied 23 goals and provided 13 assists for Real Madrid. Additionally, coach Carlo Ancelotti was recognized as Best Coach, further highlighting the club’s dominance in the football world.
