A spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office announced on Wednesday that the implementation of the “One Country, Two Systems” policy in Taiwan would fully consider the island’s realities. He expressed confidence that the people of Taiwan would develop a better understanding of the “One Country, Two Systems” policy. “The solution to the Taiwan question will play its full role as compatriots on both sides work together toward peaceful reunification,” he added.
