On Friday, Lima, the capital of Peru, witnessed a vibrant cultural exchange event between China and Peru, coinciding with the 31st APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting. The event aimed to strengthen cultural ties and enhance mutual understanding between the two ancient civilizations.
Attended by nearly 200 representatives from Peru’s political, economic, cultural, academic, and media sectors, the gathering was jointly hosted by China Media Group (CMG), the Office of Strategic Communication and Press Secretary of the Peruvian President’s Government, and the National Institute of Radio and Television of Peru.
In a video address, Peruvian President Dina Boluarte highlighted the profound friendship between the peoples of China and Peru.
