Despite Being Over Tested, Chinese Swimmers Make History at Paris 2024

Despite facing rigorous testing, Chinese swimmers have made history at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, securing a record-breaking total of 12 medals in swimming events. The team clinched two gold, three silver, and seven bronze medals, marking China\u0027s highest medal tally in Olympic swimming history.

Leading the charge was Pan Zhanle, who shattered the world record in the men\u0027s 100-meter freestyle with an astonishing time of 46.4 seconds. His remarkable performance not only earned him the gold medal but also set a new benchmark in the sport.

“Standing on the podium and hearing our national anthem play was an indescribable feeling,” Pan said after his victory. “The hard work and dedication have truly paid off.”

The mixed 4\u00d7100-meter medley relay team, consisting of Xu Jiayu, Qin Haiyang, Zhang Yufei, and Yang Junxuan, broke the Asian record with a time of 3:37.55, securing another silver medal for China.
