There, in a bold proclamation, he declared himself ‘The Great Sage, Equal to Heaven,’ asserting his status and challenging the authority of the Jade Emperor. This audacious move did not go unnoticed. In response, the Jade Emperor ordered Li Jing, the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King, and his formidable son, Nezha, to lead an army of heavenly soldiers to subdue the rebellious Monkey King.
