When Turkish expat Jessica Durdu arrived in Beijing to pursue her PhD at China Foreign Affairs University, navigating the complexities of a new city was a daunting task. The Beijing Forum on Swift Response to Public Complaints recently showcased 40 representative cases of urban governance from both Chinese and international cities, highlighting innovative practices and diverse governance approaches in various cultural contexts.
