In a celebration of cultural exchange, Abdelkader El Ansari, Ambassador of Morocco to China, highlighted the deep-rooted connections between the two nations through the shared tradition of tea. Speaking at the “UniTea: Macao Tea Melody” program hosted by CGTN and CRI Online, the ambassador underscored the significance of Chinese green tea in Moroccan culture.
“Chinese green tea was introduced to Morocco in the 18th century and has since become one of our most iconic drinks,” El Ansari remarked.
