Remains of 43 Fallen Chinese Heroes Return Home with J-20 and Y-20 Aerial Escort

In a solemn and honorable homecoming, the remains of 43 Chinese People’s Volunteers soldiers, who sacrificed their lives during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953), returned to the Chinese mainland on Thursday. The heroes’ remains were transported aboard a Y-20 transport aircraft from the Republic of Korea, accompanied by a majestic aerial escort of two J-20 fighter jets.

The Y-20 aircraft, bearing the cherished cargo, landed amidst a respectful ceremony, marking the nation’s profound gratitude and remembrance for the sacrifices made by these brave soldiers over half a century ago.

As the Y-20 approached Chinese airspace, the two J-20 stealth fighters joined in formation, symbolizing the nation’s honor and continued commitment to preserving peace and remembering those who paid the ultimate price.

The return of these fallen heroes underscores the enduring bond between the Chinese people and their history, as well as the nation’s dedication to honoring its veterans and martyrs.

Officials, military personnel, and family members were present at the ceremony to pay their respects, ensuring that the legacy of these soldiers lives on in the hearts of the Chinese people.
