President Xi expressed his pleasure at meeting President Prabowo again, highlighting the importance of Prabowo’s decision to make China his first official visit after his election in March and once more after taking office. “This reflects the high significance you place on China-Indonesia relations as well as the strategic nature of our bilateral ties,” Xi remarked.

Under President Prabowo’s leadership, Xi conveyed confidence that Indonesia will continue to achieve new milestones in its journey toward national prosperity and rejuvenation. He applauded Indonesia’s vision of “Indonesia Emas (Golden Indonesia) 2045,” emphasizing that the country is poised to play a more influential role on international and regional stages.
