Speaking with CGTN’s Gan Tian at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Umetsu emphasized the importance of the Chinese market and consumers to Shiseido’s global strategy.
“We have never wavered in our confidence and determination to invest in China,” Umetsu stated. “We intend to strengthen this long-term investment partnership because the Chinese market and Chinese consumers are very strong. China is a really important international market for the group.”
