In the rugged landscapes of northwest China, Qilian Mountain National Park stands as a haven for some of the world’s rarest wildlife. Straddling the border of Gansu and Qinghai provinces, this expansive sanctuary is home to majestic creatures such as snow leopards, Thorold’s deer, and bharals.
At the heart of this wilderness, a dedicated team of four young rangers works tirelessly at the park’s wildlife rehabilitation and breeding station. These unsung heroes have taken on the formidable task of protecting and nurturing the park’s endangered inhabitants.
Despite facing harsh conditions and the challenges of remote mountain terrains, the rangers devote themselves to providing medical care and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned animals.
