Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China, met with International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach in New York on Monday. During the meeting, Wang Yi reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting the IOC’s mission and fostering international cooperation through sports.
Wang Yi emphasized that China will continue to enhance mutual understanding among nations and promote world peace and development. He highlighted the unifying power of the Olympic Games and praised the IOC’s efforts in bringing countries together through sportsmanship and competition.
