On September 3, during Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s trip to China for the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and his state visit, China Media Group (CMG) President Shen Haixiong and Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar signed two memoranda of cooperation in Beijing.
The agreements include the Memorandum of Understanding between China Media Group and Nigeria’s National Television Authority (NTA), and the Memorandum of Understanding between CMG and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
These agreements mark a significant step in media collaboration between China and Nigeria, aiming to enhance cooperation between CMG and Nigeria’s leading television and radio networks.
President Tinubu’s visit highlights the strengthening ties between China and Nigeria and underscores the importance of media partnerships in promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
