At least 12 people have been killed as heavy rains wreaked havoc in India’s southern states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, officials said on Sunday.
In Andhra Pradesh, nine people lost their lives due to the torrential downpours, while the neighboring Telangana state reported three deaths. The heavy rainfall has caused significant disruption across both states, affecting thousands of residents.
