A new report released on Tuesday in Beijing highlights how China’s commitment to advancing modernization through comprehensive reforms has become a powerful engine for global economic growth.
Titled “Deepening Reform Comprehensively to Advance Chinese Modernization: Major Achievements and Global Contributions,” the report was jointly published by think tanks affiliated with the Institute of Party History and Literature of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Xinhua News Agency.
According to the report, China’s reform initiatives have not only spurred domestic development but have also delivered substantial benefits to the world economy. The nation’s steady economic and social progress, along with enhancements in governance, have infused experience and strength into the global economic landscape.
Amidst a sluggish global economy, China has continued to inject positive momentum. Since 2012, China’s share of the global economy has been increasing annually. Between 2013 and 2021, China consistently ranked first in terms of average contribution to global economic growth, surpassing the combined contributions of the Group of Seven (G7) countries, the report noted.
“A more efficient and vigorous Chinese economy will become a locomotive of global economic growth,” the report stated
