According to Lebanese military sources, a Lebanese boy was killed and seven other civilians were injured on Saturday afternoon during Israeli airstrikes on southern villages in Lebanon.
On Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that approximately 30 rockets were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israel. Most of these rockets were intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array.
The situation has brought renewed attention to the western side of Israel’s border with Lebanon, a region with a complex history and significant strategic importance.
