The world’s leading minds in mathematics, physics, and computer science have gathered in Beijing for the 2024 International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS), which commenced on Sunday at Tsinghua University. Under the theme of “Advancing Science for Humanity,” the event brings together over 800 experts from across the globe to share groundbreaking achievements and explore future research directions in fundamental scientific fields.
Running until July 26, the congress features discussions on a wide range of topics, including mathematics, theoretical physics, and theoretical computer and information sciences.
