China Media Group (CMG), in collaboration with the Tajik Khovar News Agency and Tajik TV Sinamo, launched an exhibition showcasing over ten high-quality programs produced by CMG in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, on Sunday.

Speaking via video at the event, CMG President Shen Haixiong emphasized that the exhibition deepens the outcomes of meetings between leaders of China and Tajikistan, strengthening the emotional bond between the two countries.

The programs, including documentaries such as “A Road to Prosperity” and “The Call of the Silk Road“, highlight China’s rich and diverse regional cultures. They showcase folk customs, economic and social developments, and transformations in various regions of China, offering the Tajik audience insights into the vitality of China in the new era.

Shen expressed hope that the audience would recognize that countries worldwide can share development and that different civilizations can flourish together. He noted that the programs also reflect the fruitful cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative between China, Tajikistan, and other countries.

He added that CMG is committed to further enhancing exchanges and cooperation with its Tajik counterparts, contributing to building a China-Tajikistan community with a shared future characterized by enduring friendship, common destiny, and mutual benefit.

Elena Batenkova, editor-in-chief of the Russian service of the Khovar News Agency, congratulated the launch of the exhibition in her video speech. She stated that the event not only helps the Tajik audience understand traditional Chinese culture but also showcases China’s achievements in recent years and the lives of contemporary Chinese people.

Batenkova expressed hope that Tajik and Chinese media would continue to deepen cooperation and contribute to the development of good-neighborly and friendly relations between the two countries.

The quality programs will be broadcast until July 6 on multiple Tajik media platforms, including the Khovar News Agency and TV Sinamo.
