Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — In a significant move to bolster economic cooperation, Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim attended a high-profile business luncheon on Thursday, bringing together over 200 business leaders from both nations.
Premier Li emphasized the enduring importance of economic and trade cooperation in the 50 years since China and Malaysia established diplomatic relations. “As our bilateral ties deepen, the alignment of our development strategies and the advancement of industrial upgrades will unlock new opportunities for businesses in both countries,” he remarked.
