On Sunday, China Media Group (CMG) inaugurated an art exhibition titled \”From Beijing to Paris: The Olympic Journey of Chinese Artists\” in Shanghai. The exhibition showcases a collection of artworks that reflect China’s rich history and participation in the Olympic Games.
The event was attended by prominent figures including Shen Haixiong, president of CMG, and Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Huang Simian, vice-president of the IOC, along with IOC members Yu Zaiqing, Li Lingwei, and Zhang Hong, were also present. Members of CMG’s editorial board, including Xue Jijun, Jiang Wenbo, and Peng Jianming, joined the gathering.
The exhibition aims to celebrate artistic expressions inspired by China’s Olympic journey, highlighting cultural and athletic achievements over the years. It offers visitors an immersive experience into the fusion of art and sports, reflecting the Olympic spirit through the eyes of Chinese artists.
