CMG Launches ‘Morning Sports’ Program Ahead of Paris 2024 Olympics

China Media Group (CMG) launched its sports news program, “Morning Sports,” in Shanghai on Sunday, gearing up for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France.

The launch ceremony featured CMG President Shen Haixiong and International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach. During the event, CMG unveiled its Paris 2024 logo and recognized its broadcast team.

In his speech, Shen emphasized CMG’s commitment to serving as the main broadcasting body and all-media rights-holding broadcaster for the 2024 Olympic Games. He stated that CMG would strive to deliver comprehensive coverage of the event.

CMG’s production trucks departed from Beijing on Saturday and arrived in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. From there, they will set sail for Paris, with an expected arrival in the French capital in late July.

With “Morning Sports,” CMG aims to provide audiences with timely updates and in-depth coverage of the Olympic Games, showcasing athletic excellence and fostering international understanding.
