The Dallas Mavericks secured a 119-110 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night, with Luka Doncic delivering a standout performance.

Doncic recorded 29 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, helping the Mavericks rebound after a challenging Game 1, where the Thunder held him to 19 points on 6-for-19 shooting.

“I think that was one of the hardest games I’ve had to play,” Doncic said. “I’m battling out there trying to do my best to help the team win.”

The atmosphere was intense as Thunder fans booed and chanted at Doncic, but he embraced the challenge. “That’s great for me,” he said. “I love it.”

P.J. Washington was pivotal for Dallas, adding 29 points and 11 rebounds, including an impressive 7-of-11 from beyond the arc. “I thought P.J. set the tone,” Mavericks coach Jason Kidd said. “We played through him a little bit in the post, and I think that sparked him.”

The Mavericks’ victory sets the stage for an exciting continuation of the series, with both teams showing resilience and competitive spirit. “They have great players,” Doncic said of the Thunder. “They have great chemistry, great team. And it’s going to be tough. It’s going to be a fight till the end.”
