Hangzhou, China — When French mechanical engineer and vlogger Thibaut Grzelak first set foot in China in 2018, he couldn’t have predicted how profoundly the country would captivate him. Drawn by its vibrant culture, rich gastronomy, and the warmth of its people, Thibaut found a new home in the bustling city of Hangzhou.

As 2023 marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and France, Thibaut is hopeful for the future. “I look forward to continued collaboration and joint projects that promote friendship between our two countries,” he says. “There’s so much we can learn from each other.”
